The Edit Trigger Dialog

Use the Edit Trigger dialog to:

When editing an element, note the various editing considerations.

The fields in this dialog are:

The name of the trigger.

Please note:

You can only use letters, numbers and underscores; you cannot use any other characters or use spaces
The first character cannot be a number

If you enter an invalid character, a yellow triangle is displayed next to the name; hover your cursor over the triangle to view a message that indicates the invalid character

If you change the name of a trigger resource that is in the workspace definition file, a new trigger resource is created with this name

General comments about this trigger. This field appears only when directly editing a trigger element in a Documaker document.

This check box appears only when editing a trigger resource from the Insert Trigger task pane.

Select this check box to update all the trigger elements (in the active document only) that are based on this trigger resource.

This check box appears only when editing a trigger from the Manage Resources dialog.

Select this check box to update all the trigger elements (in all open documents) that are based on this trigger resource.
